DROPS Andes er et 2-trådet,tradisjonelt spunnet garn i 35% superfin alpakka og 65% Peruvian Highland ull, som gir en silkemyk overflate (fra alpakkafibrene). og en god formstabilitet (fra ullfibrene). Garnfibrene er ubehandlet, det betyr at de kun er vasket og ikke utsatt for kjemisk behandling før farging. Dette fremhever garnets naturlige egenskaper og gir en bedre form og struktur.

DROPS Andes is spun from 2 strands in the traditional combination of 65% Peruvian Highland wool and 35% superfine alpaca. The mixture brings out the alpaca silky surface, while the wool gives the yarn better shape stability. The yarn fibers are untreated, which means that it is only washed and not exposed to any chemical treatment prior to the dyeing. This highlights the fiber’s natural properties, while it also provides a better shape and texture quality. DROPS Andes contains some mixed colours, which means the wool is manufactured by carding the colours together before spinning, which gives it a mixed effect. Very easy to work with thick needles and hooks and ideal for felting, DROPS Andes is perfect for winter garments, accessories and interior patterns. Made in Peru
